Xyriel Manabat is making the most out of every well-deserved opportunity that comes her way. She has had a booked and busy year so far, and we couldn’t be prouder of the versatile artist she has blossomed into.
If you grew up watching teleseryes, you might have first met Xyriel as an award-winning child actress through her iconic roles on 100 Days to Heaven, Momay, and Agua Bendita.

Over a decade later, her acting prowess and maturity shone as Roxy on the youth-oriented drama, Senior High. Throughout the show’s run, fans commended Xyriel for her standout scenes, as well as her remarkable chemistry with Zaijian Jaranilla, who played Tim, and Elijah Canlas, who portrayed Archie.
This year, we fell in love with Xyriel and her infectious energy on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition (PBB Collab). In the show, she was not just a prominent celebrity but also a breadwinner who had persevered for her and her family’s futures.
Though Xyriel’s time on PBB Collab was cut short, numerous new projects and blessings awaited her in the outside world. In 2025 alone, we’ve seen Xyriel portray six onscreen characters, take on two upcoming roles (in Love You So Bad and The Secrets of Hotel 88), and star opposite Ralph de Leon in the swoon-worthy music video of “Patient” by Sofronio Vasquez.
In a recent interview with Black Cookies Productions, Xyriel shared, “Ang goal ko talaga ngayon, hangga’t maaari, hindi ako magno-no sa trabaho.” She isn’t turning down any chances to grow, thrive, and reach new heights as an actress. Here’s how her TV and film roles throughout 2025 have become fruits of her passion, go-getter spirit, and longevity in the entertainment industry:
Thea, Sunshine
Xyriel has been part of various compelling stories this year, including Sunshine, Antoinette Jadaone’s critically acclaimed film that has made a lasting impact on Filipinos around the world. In the movie, Xyriel plays Thea, a trusted friend and shoulder to cry on for the titular protagonist.
Mimi, Kontrabida Academy
Mimi isn’t just a “seductive daughter.” She’s the “seductive daughter” of Kontrabida Academy—a viral queen and character who solidified Xyriel’s status as one of this generation’s most iconic actresses. This extravagant, over-the-top film had multiple moments that left us in stitches, including Mimi’s fierce, fabulous dynamics with her mother, Mauricia (Eugene Domingo), Gia (Barbie Forteza), and Mirinisa (Ysabel Ortega).
Magpakailanman: “Rabies”
On a heartbreaking episode of Magpakailanman, Xyriel portrayed the true story of Jamaica, a 13-year-old student who got bitten by a stray dog with rabies and kept it a secret from her parents. The full episode has garnered over two million views on YouTube since its premiere last June 24, 2025.
Madeth, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay
Xyriel gave us comedy gold on It’s Okay to Not Be Okay as Madeth, a bubbly and enthusiastic personal assistant to Mia (Anne Curtis), an accomplished children’s book author. There’s never a dull moment between Madeth and Mia’s manager, Vincent (Enchong Dee), as the two go on unpredictable “side quests” every day to help the renowned storyteller overcome her deep-seated trauma and grievances.
Sandy, The Last Beergin
Sometimes, the simplest and most mundane stories are the most meaningful, too. This drama-comedy, its notable cast, and each character’s existential worries definitely get that point across.
In The Last Beergin, Xyriel shows us that even spoiled brats can change for the better with the right conversations and a constant support system. She plays Sandy, a rebellious, hotheaded young woman who “hates her parents” and seemingly struggles with her love life despite having a boyfriend. She and four strangers—Tere (Cherry Pie Picache), Isaac (Zaijian Jaranilla), Hilario (Pepe Herrera), and RG (JC Santos)—form an unlikely bond by sharing their deepest secrets and drinking their troubles away.
Mia, Near Death
This year, Xyriel has brought her undeniable talent to various genres—romance, comedy, drama, and even reality TV. And on Halloween, she explored the realm of horror in Near Death, an official entry to SM Cinema’s sixth Sine Sindak Horror Film Festival.
In Near Death, Xyriel plays Mia, who does whatever she can to help her elder sister Julia (Charlie Dizon) conquer the ominous voices in her head and the vengeful spirits that hover around her. Near Death is Xyriel’s latest role in a horror film since Ilawod in 2017.
