JC Santos and Barbie Imperial are starring in a new movie together!
JC, who last starred in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean blockbuster film “More Than Blue” in 2021 and will be featured in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Fest 2022 entry “Family Matters,” announced that he will be taking on a new role opposite Barbie in an Instagram post where the two of them posed for a photo against a breathtaking backdrop of the mountains.
“Beautiful Atok sunset view for our film! This time, working with great actress [Barbie],” JC wrote in the caption of his post. “Ang ganda ng Pilipinas! (This Philippines is beautiful!)”
The film, titled “A Cup of Flavor,” will be directed by Ma-An Asuncion Dagnalan. They started shooting on December 16, according to her latest Instagram post.
Aside from this, JC is expected to return to television screens for “Dirty Linen,” a romantic comedy thriller drama that will premiere on the Kapamilya Channel in 2023. Meanwhile, Barbie last starred in the 2022 mini-series “The Goodbye Girl” and will also top-bill the movie “I Love Lizzy” opposite Carlo Aquino that’s set to hit cinemas in January.
