In October 2021, Gonzaga shared via Instagram that she had suffered her first miscarriage due to an anembryonic pregnancy (a blighted ovum), where the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall but the embryo fails to develop.
Two years later, in October 2023, the couple attempted In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Although the egg fertilization was successful, the embryo failed to develop properly after transfer, leading to a second loss.
