The 2030 Youth Force in the Philippines Inc. (YFPH) proudly launches its newest youth-led initiative: #SineSDGs, a film screening series designed to bridge the gap between art and advocacy. Kicking off on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 10:30 PM in SM Megamall, the event brings the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to life through the lens of cinema.
More than just a film screening, #SineSDGs is a platform where storytelling becomes a spark for social change, using the force of film to ignite conversation, reflection, and collective action around the SDGs. Each screening features carefully selected films that humanize the most pressing global issues of our time—from gender equality and healthcare to climate justice and human rights.

The inaugural screening of Sunshine sets the tone for what #SineSDGs is all about: using the power of film to illuminate truth. This poignant narrative delves into the lived experiences of Filipinas, revealing stories of resilience, silence, strength, and survival that too often go unseen. It is not just a narrative; it is a reflection of realities that demand to be heard.
Following the screening, audiences are invited to a talkback session with the film’s acclaimed director, Antoinette Jadaone, whose storytelling has long given voice to the unheard. She will be joined by a representative from a partner organization for a dialogue moderated by YFPH as they unpack the film’s themes and explore their deep connection to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to gender equality, health, and human rights.

Since 2016, YFPH has empowered thousands of young Filipinos to lead the charge for a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future. With #SineSDGs, that advocacy enters a more intimate, emotional space—where complex global issues become personal, urgent, and deeply human.
Admission is ₱500, inclusive of a curated loot bag. Proceeds support the women of Likhaan Center for Women’s Health Inc. and fund youth-led initiatives by YFPH. An onsite and online “Give What You Can” donation drive will also be available.
