UP Chemical Society, established in 1929, celebrates ChemSoc Week for its 97th anniversary. While a new system update is now available for its 97th year, the organization continues to uphold its principles of promoting general welfare, encouraging the study of chemistry, and recognizing achievements in the field.

This year, UP ChemSoc introduces System97.exe, beginning with their annual Thanksgiving: Shared Inbox on September 5, followed by Exergonic: Search Engine on September 7, a chemistry career talk that emphasizes the wide array of opportunities a chemistry student can pursue.
This year, one of the most anticipated events in ChemSoc Week just got revamped! CALORIEmetry: Flavor Feed, a food fair, will be held from September 8 to 11. Following this is the opening of the ChemSoc Week Exhibit: Dashboard on September 9, which commemorates 97 years of ChemSoc.
This new update has a lot more to offer because the BIGGEST ice cream and trivia night contest on campus is back to bring the chill! Brain Freeze: System Overload, where brain freezes meet brain waves, will be held on September 10. To thank the community, Grand Pakain: Gigabytes will be served on September 11.
System updates are now complete! Ending this week-long celebration is Mems’ Night: Home Screen on September 12, where members and alumni gather to witness and celebrate the completion of the 97th anniversary.
Updates Ready! Initializing System97.exe program.
