Globehunters, a travel website based in the United Kingdom, recently included the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on their list of the world’s best airports for business travelers. It joins the ranks of airports like the Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Dubai International Airport, and the John F Kennedy International Airport amongst others. NAIA ultimately made it as the top 44th airport in the world.
According to the site, “not all airports are created equal and some offer a far better experience for those who are flying for business.” As such, they have “looked at some of the busiest airports around the world and compared the facilities and services they offer, from the cost of parking to the number of lounges available.” This information is what was used to create such a list.
The list considers a total of 10 factors from “on-time arrival performance” to the number of destinations served. NAIA earned an overall score of 38.19 points out of 100 with a 3 out of 5-star rating and 63.9% on-time arrival performance. It also took note of the 5 lounges, 93 destinations being served, and 46 airlines.
Japan’s Narita International Airport topped the list with 75.31 points. It is followed by the Los Angeles International Airport, Frankfurt Airport, the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, and the George Bush Intercontinental Airport respectively rounding out the top 5 airports in the world for business travelers.
