BRGR Project Scout Rallos – New Location, Same Awesome (Customized) Taste!
When in Manila, who doesn’t love BRGR Project? If you haven’t tried out BRGR Project in any of their branches so far (they have branches in Maginhawa, Malate, Makati and Taft); then you are definitely missing out! If you haven’t tried them out yet because you couldn’t find a branch close to you, then the new BRGR Project Scout Rallos branch might just be exactly what you have been waiting for!
Conveniently located in Tomas Morato (just turn into the street where Papa John’s is located and you’ll find BRGR Project right next to its sister dessert place, Mrs. Graham’s – yes, Mrs. Graham’s has a store now!!!), BRGR Project Scout Rallos provides a cozy lil nook for friends, couples, families and even solo burger lovers to enjoy the delectable customised burgers of their choice!
At first entry, BRGR Project Scout Rallos looks small; but fear not, for they have a second floor, where they have more space for you to hang out in. The best part about the place, for the artistic and creative at heart, would be this cool chalkboard where you can literally leave your mark and let the world know that you were there. After that, the ordering at BRGR Project Scout Rallos began…
Aptly named “BRGR Project“, BRGR Project allows its diners to make their very own burger “projects”, so to speak. In other words, you’ll get to come up with your very own project-of-a-burger. You’ll get to choose your own patties, buns, cheeses, toppings, side dishes and sauces – yum yum yum!
To be honest, filling up the form feels like taking a quiz on what your ideal burger is like – but it’s all part of the fun! Some of the delicious side dishes that you can order at BRGR Project include:
Buffalo Wings (Php155)
Mozzarella Sticks (Php145)
If you aren’t in the mood for burgers, these sides are more than enough to keep you happily munching away.
And now on to the burgers! If you’ve got an unlimited budget, then feel free to go completely nuts with your order! If your budget is a bit limited, though, then you might want to pay close attention to how much each add-on costs before you go crazy. Don’t let the freedom of customisation get too much to your head. :p
Either way, you can name your own burgers. Booyah! Truth be told, naming the burger usually takes longer than making it, especially for the Instagram fanatics who want to impress with their choices of burger names. :p
For the lazy or the too-hungry-to-create-a-personalised-burger, there are also Designer Burgers (ranging from Php185 to Php250) on the menu that can be dived into. Ahh. Don’t you wish there were pre-made projects in school, too?
Did I mention that they use 100% Angus beef? This ensures that you get nothing but the best with each order – be it a single patty, a double patty or even a triple patty. Don’t be afraid to pile it on if you’re hungry!
Marck definitely takes the cake for his all-you-can-sauce burger, though. He literally put every single type of sauce into his burger that night. Ibang klase! Hahaha.
When I first got to BRGR Project Scout Rallos, I decided to order some iced tea; but once I saw everyone else’s milkshake orders, I just couldn’t resist but change my order to a Choco Peanut Milkshake (Php150) – definitely no regrets in the end!
Despite the fact that the burgers that we had were extremely filling that night (to the point where the other girls couldn’t finish theirs anymore), I devoured everything on my plate – proof that BRGR Project is definitely the perfect place to go after a long and food-deprived day.
So, When in Manila and you simply haven’t found that perfect burger that suits your taste best just yet, head on over to BRGR Project and make your very own! Enjoy!
