This Hotel in Boracay Marks a Decade With Michelin Recognition

The Lind Boracay celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of personalized experiences with a refreshed brand identity at the world- renowned White Beach and a landmark year, becoming the first and only hotel in Boracay to be featured in the prestigious MICHELIN Guide on its Philippine debut in 2025.

The milestone year marks the transition of The Lind from a single standout property into a curated, multi-island portfolio. With upcoming developments in Coron and Siargao, the brand is expanding its unique blend of experience-driven hospitality to the country’s most sought-after idyllic destinations.

A New Standard: The Guest Experience

Central to this evolution is the bold restructuring of traditional hotel operations. Moving away from the rigid frameworks of international chains, The Lind has officially replaced its traditional Concierge and Front Office with a specialized Guest Experience department. This one-stop shop concept ensures that every interaction is personal, seamless, and grounded in human connection.

“Travelers perceive the person in front of them as the best person to assist with their needs,” said Pierre Henrichs, Chief Operating Officer of The Lind Hotels. “Whether it is booking a table, arranging a treatment at The Spa, or discovering the hidden gems of Boracay, our new Guest Experience team is empowered to provide a warm, personalized journey from the moment a guest considers staying with us.”

Culinary Excellence: The Debut of Yím

As part of its commitment to authentic, quality flavors, the resort has introduced Yím, a contemporary Thai restaurant. Rooted in authenticity and led by a resident Thai chef, Yím brings a modern architectural aesthetic and bold but balanced flavors to Station 1. This addition reinforces The Lind’s position as a culinary destination, complementing the Mediterranean beachfront restaurant, Crust, and an extensive breakfast spread featuring continental and Asian favorites.

The First MICHELIN-Listed Hotel in Boracay

The decade-long focus on consistency, from the powder-fine sands of its private Station 1 beach to its partnership with the ISPA-accredited (International Spa Association) The Spa Wellness, earned the resort its spot in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide. This recognition serves as a global validation of independent Filipino hospitality.

“Being recognized by the MICHELIN Guide in our tenth year is not an endpoint, but a validation of the standards we have been refining since we opened,” Henrichs added. “We chose to remain independent because it allows us to move quickly and build something that truly reflects who we are.”

Expanding to New Destinations: Coron and Siargao

The Lind’s new branding, which moves beyond mere aesthetics to focus on warmth, meaning, and people-to-people connections, will serve as the blueprint for its expansion:

  • The Lind Coron: Slated as the company’s 2nd property, will offer a villa-led experience, secluded while remaining connected to the mainland, on a private peninsula.
  • The Lind Siargao: Positioned as the surf capital of the Philippines, this project will bring high-quality, design-led hospitality to a fast-evolving market.

Through its continued evolution, The Lind Hotels is helping prove that globally recognized hospitality experiences can be created in the Philippines while remaining proudly and distinctly Filipino.
