Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach just delivered 11,900 surgical masks to a dozen hospitals caring for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients.

“Time well spent today,” she captioned her Instagram post. ” A big THANK YOU to everyone who made a donation. 11,900 masks spread evenly to 12 hospitals today. You made this happen. Maraming salamat po. I will keep you posted on our progress.”
The donation was made possible through a fundraiser launched by Pia herself. The initiative has the goal of raising around Php 600,000 for the procurement of 25,000 pieces of surgical masks.
Pia has even made a previous donation of 5,000 surgical masks to 4 different hospitals around Metro Manila last March 31.
