Bea Alonzo Launches Charity Drive, Creates Face Shields for COVID-19 Frontliners

Bea Alonzo recently launched I Am Hope, an initiative aimed towards providing frontliners with medical equipment as they face the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

She shared on her Instagram last Saturday a few photos of herself and her friends in action. They were busy sorting donations and fashioning do-it-yourself face shields from foam, acetate, and garter. The face shields were made from donations to her organization.

“It’s hump day for I AM HOPE ORG. today because it’s our first repacking day at our headquarters! Maliit na tulong ito kumpara sa ginagawa para sa atin ng ating magigiting na frontliners” she captioned the post.

The group will also be providing other needs of frontliners including food, personal protective equipment (PPE), vitamins and medical equipment.
