Take Your Friends to These 5 Social Clubs In Metro Manila for an Unforgettable Trivia Night

Move over, Kahoot! quizzes on Zoom calls and chat rooms—we’re taking our friends and family out to trivia nights now. They’re all the rage these days, especially around the metro, as a bonding activity, community initiative, and proactive way to test your knowledge on the topics and media you’re passionate about.

Compared to the complicated mechanics of collaborative quizzes online, onsite trivia nights in the Philippines are easier to participate in.

Contestants gather in groups, each one equipped with whiteboards and markers. Questions are posted on a projector, and the group with the most correct answers by the end of the trivia night wins. You don’t even have to worry about your WiFi disconnecting you while answering (a common yet tragic canon event). Everyone will be present and in the moment all night, which will definitely amp up your competitive spirit.

There are trivia nights all over Metro Manila that cover every trend and subject imaginable. If you’ve been feeling extra sociable lately, on a quest to find new friends to yap about your interests with, here are five social clubs you can join and follow for updates on trivia nights throughout the month.

Trivia Down Tuesdays’ trivia nights have become all-around hits nationwide. The social club has taken its weekly onsite quiz bees to Makati, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Quezon City, Ortigas, Laguna, Alabang, Cebu, and Davao.

As one of the Philippines’ most prolific trivia night hosts, Trivia Down Tuesdays posts its weekly schedules, topics, and venues in advance to cater to as many participants as possible. In the first week of September this year, they held general trivia nights, Korean pop (K-pop) nights, and other niche quiz themes like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Pinoy pop culture, Formula 1, and Gen Z brainrot, to name a few.
