In an episode of the New Heights, the podcast that Travis Kelce co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis revealed that he went to Taylor Swift’s concert at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium and written his number on a friendship bracelet.
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Travis said on the episode.
However, the NFL player shared that he wasn’t able to talk to her before or after the show: “She doesn’t meet anybody—or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal,” he quipped. And the rest is history.

The two were frequently spotted going out together. Once again, Travis attended Taylor’s show, where concertgoers were lucky enough to witness one of the superstar’s most iconic lyric changes.
With the NFL star in the audience, the Eras Tour headliner switched up the lyrics to “Karma,” sending fans into a frenzy.

Taylor Swift probably has more hours in a day—or maybe she’s just the human embodiment of time management—as she managed to release her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, while headlining The Eras Tour.
