On April 23, Netflix officially dropped the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated murder-mystery series.

As shown in the teaser trailer, Wednesday Addams is set to navigate unsolved mysteries involving her family and friends, promising another year of dark and twisted mayhem that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

For this much-awaited season, the popular horror series will be dropped in two parts. The first four episodes will premiere on August 6, while the remaining four episodes will be released on September 3.

Jenna, who has stepped up as an executive producer for Wednesday Season 2, previously revealed that the show will focus more on its horror elements rather than the romance aspect.

“I think we want to lean into the horror aspect of the show a little bit more because it is so lighthearted and I think a show like this, with vampires and werewolves and super powers, you don’t want to take yourself too seriously,” the 22-year-old actress told Elle Fanning. “I think that we’re kind of ditching any romantic love interest for Wednesday, which is really great.”

Wednesday is a gothic coming-of-age series that is widely regarded as one of the most-watched English-language Netflix series worldwide. The 2022 supernatural show stars Jenna Ortega as the titular character, alongside Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Emma Myers, and Percy Hynes White, among others.
