The Philippines is gearing up for the 10th anniversary edition of World Wellness Weekend (WWW) this September 18–20, 2026, bringing together 90 and counting wellness experiences, destinations, communities, and practitioners across the country.
As World Wellness Weekend activates communities across 187 countries, the Philippines continues to strengthen its position as a destination for holistic, accessible, and regenerative wellness. This year’s celebration invites Filipinos and travelers to Connect, Recharge, and Turn Your Wellness ON through experiences that bring wellness into everyday life.
Expect a weekend full of wellness activities that everyone can join, from beach yoga, fitness and movement sessions, meditation, sound healing, spa experiences, wellness workshops, nature activities, fun runs, community gatherings, and immersive destination experiences.
The Philippine celebration is supported by the Department of Tourism (DOT) through its Product and Market Development, spearheaded by Director Paulo Tugbang, Director for Health and Wellness Tourism, together with the Wellness Tourism Association of the Philippines (WeTAP), an organization dedicated to promoting and nurturing the “Filipino Brand of Wellness,” recognized by the Philippine Department of Tourism.
Leading the national movement are World Wellness Weekend Philippines Co-Ambassadors Ms. Cybille Barcebal, Corporate Wellness Manager and CSR Champion for the Araw Hospitality Group in the Philippines, and Ms. Marla Mae Ramos, Founder of Wellgather and a Certified Wellness Travel Specialist.
Together, they are championing the continued development of the Philippines as a global wellness destination, connecting the country’s wellness practitioners, hospitality industry, tourism stakeholders, communities, and travelers through meaningful experiences.
Spearheaded by Araw Hospitality Group’s wellness weekend celebrations across its properties, the goal is to collectively showcase the incredible people, places, and experiences that make the Philippines a rising global wellness destination, while creating opportunities for people to discover wellness in ways that are meaningful, joyful, and connected to the country’s rich culture and natural environment.
A highlight of the Philippine celebration will take place in El Nido, Palawan, including a special wellness retreat at Lihim Resorts, alongside participating resorts, wellness businesses, communities, and practitioners across the country.
