Every Filipino lives a different story. Every community carries its own realities. And every path opens up new possibilities for design.
What does it mean to design for a country as diverse as the Philippines?
Join the Architectural Students’ Association of the Philippines – University of the Philippines Chapter (ASAPHIL-UP) for Liyab 2026 — Sa Iba’t Ibang Daan: Designing for the Many Ways Filipinos Live, an academic gathering that explores the diverse perspectives, experiences, and approaches shaping design in the Filipino context.
Featuring Ar. AP Antolin of AP Antolin Design+Build and Ar. Justin Guiab of GAGO Architecture, this year’s Liyab invites us to look beyond conventional approaches, challenge perspectives, and discover how design can respond to the diverse realities of Filipinos.
