Global Citizen held a Together At Home concert to support front liners and medical workers and had different performers show off their talents. Amidst a star-studded line-up, Taylor Swift delivered a beautiful, raw performance of her song “Soon You’ll Get Better,” a fitting tribute amid COVID-19. It was so well-received that #TaylorSwift trended for a few hours.
“Soon You’ll Get Better” is a moving ballad about her mother’s battle with cancer. She’s said in interviews before that it was hard to write the song and just as hard to sing it. Twitter has blown up with gratitude towards her for braving the performance, knowing how difficult it could be for her to perform it at all.
