Kim Atienza Is Now a Certified Mental Wellness Facilitator

Kim Atienza has taken on a new role—this time in the field of mental health.

The television host recently shared on Instagram that he completed an eight-hour mental health first aid training program on April 24, 2026. The workshop was led by Eric Dimar, lead psychologist of DMR Psychological Services.

Based on his certificate, Atienza is now trained to provide initial support to individuals who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

This update follows an interaction that gained attention in March, when Atienza responded to a Threads post from a user who appeared to be seeking help with their mental health. He later invited the individual to his show TiktoClock, and after meeting, offered to help connect them with a psychiatrist, according to a report by GMA News.

In a separate interview with Ice Seguerra and Liza Diño, Atienza said he had started taking counseling classes after noticing more people were reaching out to him for advice.

He also spoke about how his late daughter, Emman, influenced this direction. Emman passed away in October 2025 in Los Angeles and had been open online about her experiences with anxiety and online hate.
