#PampaGoodVibes: 7 Amazing and Hilarious Stories We Shared This Week

Do you know what I love about us, Filipinos? We can just brush the negative vibes off and smile despite the hardships in life. As we all know, laughing releases stress hormones and is indeed a great “medicine” to combat depression and other diseases.

Clearly, we absorb inspiring and/or hilarious stories more than anything else! So, here are some of the amazing stories we came across this week!

7. “Tularan si Juan”

Filipinos are truly creative. Someone just made a Pinoy version of “Bill” meme and it’s hilarious!

Tularan si Juan shows the ever-relatable character Juan — smart, sensible, and an overall nice guy. This hilarious parody account has tickled the fancy of several Pinoy netizens just after recently launching, showing off stuff that a lot of us can identify with!

6. Inspiring Tiger Mother Taking Care of Piglets

Sounds odd, right? But, this inspiring story shared on social media, caught our attention.

According to a post on Facebook by Allen Marshall, the tigress apparently lost her cubs from premature labor, which resulted to a rapid decline in her health, and was soon diagnosed with depression.

5. Travel pa more in the Philippines!

I guess, National Geographic already psyched that Philippines is indeed the next destination place for tourists globally!

Christian LeBlanc, a travel blogger, adventurist, and self-proclaimed selfie expert who spent about seven and a half months traveling through some Asian countries, including the Philippines. He created a video of our country saying that it “was by far my (his) favorite.”

4. Hilarious license plate! “Anong petsa na!”

Although, jokes are half meant, this photo shared on social media really brought a lot of good vibes!

This “new design license plate” shared by Kevin Rodriguez and Top Gear Philippines brought mixed reactions. Majority of us were furious but laughed out loud too because, we don’t have any choice. LOL!

3. Filipino talents are surely recognized.

Undoubtedly, Filipinos are talented and creative. In fact, the award to Asia’s Best Female Chef 2016 was given to a Filipina Chef, Margarita Fores.

The award was given by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, a list published by William Reed Business Media. A group of 300 experts in the service industry selected Fores, and she will be awarded in Bangkok, Thailand on February 29.

2. Great Invention from the Batangas Basketball Community

Filipinos love basketball and basketball leagues need to use courts with lights, especially if the game is at night. Therefore, they would need a decent basketball court that can provide lights and other electrical items such as fans and score boards.

Hence, a group of people in San Felipe, Batangas, created a great way to balance everything: a coin meter for their basketball community.
