7 New Songs by P-pop Girl Groups That We’re Putting on Repeat This Month

If there’s one thing Filipinos can agree on, it’s that you can never go wrong with good music. We can always count on our go-to songs, albums, and playlists to comfort us when life stretches us too thin, making them a foolproof pick-me-up that can lift our spirits without fail.

The local music scene alone has already been keeping us fed every month with fresh releases that deserve more than a one-time listen. They may differ in their prominent themes, styles, and genres, but we’ll always take pride in their ability to bring smiles on our faces. After all, what are Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and Pinoy Pop (P-pop) without the diversity that fuels them?

We’re more than ready to witness homegrown artistry take center stage in the months to come. The future is as bright as ever for Filipino music, and these seven new songs prove it. From cutesy revivals to sentimental anthems, these fresh tunes by our favorite Filipinas are shaking up the industry, and we can’t wait to see how they’ll pan out.

Pag-ibig Fun” – VVINK

Friendly reminder: love is supposed to be fun, no matter who you’re spending time with. VVINK makes sure the sentiment sticks with us in their new single, “Pag-ibig Fun, the key track to their highly anticipated debut album, It Starts With a Wink. Join Angelika, Jean, Ayaka, Mariel, and Odri as they experience love and all its colors, dance through the day like no one’s watching, and even teach you how to count in Japanese!

“Get Me” – RAYA

Serving looks and girl power on the pickleball court? That’s RAYA for you. The dynamic “Gems of P-pop” returned to the scene this month with “Get Me,” a bubbly remake of the 2005 hit song by MYMP. RAYA flaunted their irresistible charm and feminine energy in a music video that fits the digital single’s upbeat vibes like a glove. The girl group’s version of “Get Me” is also the theme song to My Husband Is a Mafia Boss on Viva One.

“Groove On” – G22

If early-2000s pop is your thing, you’ll have a blast listening to G22’s latest single, “Groove On.” AJ, Alfea, and Jaz brought their “hot girl summer” aura to this vibrant and empowering anthem, which might even remind some fans of the timeless hits by Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears that took the world by storm.

“Dahil Sa’yo” – BINI

You can never go wrong with a feel-good love song that makes your heart flutter without fail. The “Nation’s Girl Group” has once again brought smiles to BLOOMs’ faces all over the world with their rendition of Iñigo Pascual’s hit song, “Dahil Sa’yo.” We can’t help but groove, sing along, and feel the total kilig vibes all over again as BINI pays homage to the original hit’s nostalgia.

“TABI” – XONARA

It’s been weeks since XONARA strutted into the scene with “TABI,” yet we still can’t get the unapologetic anthem out of our heads. It’s an adrenaline rush—a burst of energy that brings a brave, boundless edge to P-pop’s evolving sound. The group wasted no time flaunting their dynamic personalities in each verse, coupled with high-energy choreography and visual effects that proudly showcase Filipino culture.

“Oohh Lala Baby” – Baby Dolls

We’re going old-school with the Baby Dolls of It’s Showtime, who’ve captured our hearts with their latest single. After the meteoric rise of their debut track, “Ikembot Mo,” the girls followed their viral success with “Oohh Lala Baby,” a modern-day version of Vhong Navarro’s 2007 hit of the same name. You can listen to “Ikembot Mo” and “Oohh Lala Baby” on the group’s first EP, ZoomBaby Dolls

“Telebong (Hello Po)– MEI MEI

OPM’s classic melodies meet P-pop’s unparalleled energy in MEI MEI’s debut single, “Telebong (Hello Po).” In a world that compels us to zero in on the future, this song reminds us that there’s no harm in taking spontaneous trips down memory lane. Though cutesy, old-fashioned, and highly reminiscent of the generations before us, MEI MEI’s debut doesn’t shy away from putting the girls’ individuality at the forefront of their journey as up-and-coming performers.
