An inconvenience many of us are experiencing under this pandemic is not being able to find or buy everyday food items we’ve become accustomed to. While it might seem like a small problem given the current state of the world, with everything changing around us we find comfort in the little things.
Small businesses helping us fulfill any and all cravings have been a godsend, making life feel a bit more normal. Mama Bie’s Food Corner goes beyond that, giving us our much-needed coffee fix and satisfying snacking needs with everything being 100% locally-made.
From the packaging to the suppliers, everything is sourced from small, local businesses as well. None of their suppliers are foreign-owned.

Mama Bie’s brings the different provinces to you in the comfort of your own homes. They offer a wide selection of coffee (their flavored variants are honestly a game-changer), personalized trail mixes, and gourmet sausages.
Their products are unique in the sense that you wouldn’t usually find them in your grocery or supermarket. The flavors they offer are different and aim to give us something new or not readily available to us.
Mama Bie’s also has some tips for its customers:
- The sausages need to be placed in the freezer in case consumption is not immediate.
- The trail mixes should be stored in sealed containers and in a cool place. They can be stored for up to 6 months.
- For the freshest and most flavorful taste, the coffee grounds should be stored within 1 to 2 weeks in a sealed container at room temperature.
- The tablea from Davao can be stored for up to a few months.
- The chili oil can last for 3 weeks at room temperature, and 3 months if stored in the refrigerator.
Mama Bie’s is all about a family that loves to eat. It was during this pandemic, with all the restrictions, that the craving for good food was so strong they decided to do something about it. They wanted to focus on locally made products but instead of bringing them to other countries, they wanted to bring to distribute them locally to fellow Filipinos.
Mama Bie’s Food Corner delivers throughout Metro Manila. They have also delivered to both North and South Luzon, as well as Mindanao. Check out their products and make an order through their Instagram (@mamabiesfoodcorner) or Facebook page.
