TARA! Filipino Diner has opened its second branch in BGC, bringing the neighborhood-diner spirit it established in White Plains to a wider menu: burgers, cocktails, craft coffee, and a new set of dishes developed specifically for the city.
For the founders, TARA! began with a personal brief: to build the kind of brunch place they wished they had growing up, somewhere familiar enough to become a regular haunt, but playful enough to keep surprising you. The result is a neighborhood diner that borrows from classic diner culture while staying unmistakably Filipino in its flavors, references, humor, and sense of hospitality.
The brand describes TARA! as innovative, inviting, and Filipino at its core: a place where every visit should feel a little like coming home and every meal is an excuse to gather.

What’s new on the BGC table
The move to BGC gave the team room to explore more of the diner format they had always imagined for TARA!, including burgers, cocktails, craft coffee, and food that can move comfortably from breakfast to lunch, merienda, dinner, and even after-work drinks.
The TARA! Longga Nachos layer garlic longganisa, cheese sauce, garlic aioli, and salsa over Jack ’n Jill Tostillas, built as the kind of snack that works as easily beside a cocktail as it does in the middle of the table.
The Manila Piña Burger pairs a beef patty with charred pineapple, bringing a recognizably Filipino sweet-savory touch into the classic diner format.
There are rice-forward options too, including the Loko Moko and Signature Bowls, extending TARA!’s comfort-food language into something more substantial.
The playful references continue: Lucky Me Popcorn, along with drinks such as the Ube Colada and Calamansi Mojito, and coffee specials including the Flat White Rabbit and Spanish Bread Latte. The BGC-only lineup draws from familiar Filipino flavors, pantry staples, and pop-culture touchpoints without treating them as novelty.

What stays unmistakably TARA!
The signatures that built the White Plains following remain part of the story.
The Party Purple Pancake, The Big Brekky, and Belgian Champorado continue as key TARA! dishes – the familiar side of a menu that now has more room to stretch.
At the October 8 media preview, the Party Purple Pancake also became the visual centerpiece of the first BGC table: stacks of pancakes built at different heights like a playful city skyline, stamped with TARA! @ BGC.

Truly, TARA! BGC is the latest hangout spot in the bustling city of Taguig that you’d want to head to for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks.
