Calling all BBQ lovers! Ever craved for both Korean and Japanese BBQ at the same time? Well, another must-eat restaurant just opened at Maginhawa and you’re going to love it!

Yoshimeatsu currently has 7 branches within Metro Manila and they just opened their newest branch in Maginhawa. They’re stepping up the BBQ game by giving you a grilling experience unlike any other. What I love about Yoshimeatsu is that they bring you the best of both worlds by fusing Korean and Japanese BBQ together!

You might be wondering, what exactly is the difference between Korean Samgyupsal and Japanese Yakiniku? First the “banchan” or side dishes, K-BBQs often have more variety of sides than Yakiniku. Second is the meat, K-BBQ is often served marinated while Yakiniku is often not. Lastly, the way of eating, in K-BBQ we wrap the meat in lettuce together with our option of sides, while Yakiniku is often eaten as is with different sauces for dipping available. Here in Yoshimeatsu, they have fused the traditional K-BBQ experience with Japanese Yakiniku to give you an entirely unique BBQ experience.

They have over 13 different kinds of meats to choose from! That includes a mix of K-BBQ favorites, Japanese Yakiniku, and yakitori! And with that, you also get 19 unique side dishes that normally aren’t served in traditional BBQ restaurants. Other than the traditional K-BBQ side dishes such as kimchi, pamuchim, and seasoned egg, they also offer buttered kimchi rice and some of our favorite Japanese staples! Such as Kani salad, Buta dumplings (gyoza), aji tamago (egg), Yoshi Ebi maki, California maki, spicy tuna maki, Kyoto beef roll, Kani tempura, and Ebi tempura! That’s not even the best part!
