Gunil has left Xdinary Heroes following allegations that he insulted fans.

On August 13, JYP Entertainment announced through Xdinary Heroes’ official account that Gunil has left the group. The announcement came following allegations from an individual who claimed to be the drummer’s former girlfriend that he had made derogatory comments about his fans in private.

“The agency deeply recognizes the gravity of the situation and has engaged in thorough discussions with the artist from multiple perspectives. As a result, we have determined that it is no longer feasible to continue team activities together, and we have mutually agreed to terminate the exclusive contract,” the post read.
“Accordingly, we hereby inform you that Gunil has withdrawn from Xdinary Heroes effective today and concluded his team activities,” it added.
Following the official statement, the rock band will continue its activities as a 5-member group composed of Gaon, Jooyeon, Jungsu, Jun Han, and O.de.
