BTS’ V revealed that he has been suffering from hearing problems for more than two years.

During a Weverse livestream with fellow BTS member Jungkook, V revealed that the hearing in his right ear had begun to deteriorate more than two years ago and that he has yet to fully recover.
“If one ear is at about 100, I can only hear about 30 with the other,” V said.
The K-pop star also shared that his hearing worsened while fulfilling his mandatory military service.
“It got a little worse in the military, and since I was surrounded by people who exercised a lot, everyone said, ‘It’s a matter of mental strength,'” he said. “After that, I kind of convinced myself that it was a matter of mental strength.”
Despite the health setback, the BTS member assured fans that he is regularly taking medication and seeking treatment at the hospital.
BTS is currently in the US for their “Arirang” world tour. Next year, the group is set to stage a three-day show at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.
