LOOK: These 10 Restaurants Offer Delivery and Pickup even with the Quarantine

5. Hong Kong Little Kitchen

Miss going to Hong Kong for their roasts? You don’t have to look far because Hong Kong Little Kitchen delivers even with the quarantine. Get a taste of Cantonese roasted meats like their Roasted Duck, Crispy Lechon— cubes of pork with layers of crunchy skin, fat and meat— or their sweet Roasted Barbecue, familiarly known as Asado. Enjoy these as rice toppings for single-serving meals, or as a large platter for sharing. They even serve classic Chinese dishes like Sweet and Sour Pork or Hong Kong-style noodles with various combinations of meat and vegetables.

4. Bad Bird

The restaurant that’s been making waves ever since they promised a lifetime supply of chicken to Mayor Vico Sotto, Bad Bird is known for their Umami Fried Chicken— one with a delightfully crispy and flavorful skin plus tender, juicy meat inside. It’s chicken so good that they deserve a name-change to good bird. Specialty dishes include their Lemon Salt Fried Chicken— bites of fried chicken served with a sour lemon salt— or their Rich Pork Noodles for pasta lovers. It’s a meaty and creamy pasta dish with bits of pork. The Cheese Noodles are just as good too for those who can’t get enough of cheese.

And great news! Their SM Megamall and Serendra branches are now open for takeout and delivery from 11 AM to 6 PM. To get your chicken, you have 2 choices: order via GrabFood or FoodPanda, which can deliver to a limited radius only. Or you can order via SMS, pay via deposit and book the courier by yourself (Angkas Food, Lalamove or Grab Express). The latter gets you a 10% discount on your order too! Look for Alma if you’d like to order from Megamall or call Jane for orders at Serendra via mobile at 0915-7280016. For a complete list of their menu, check out their site here.

3. House of Lasagna

For birthdays, milestones, or if you’re craving a tray of lasagna ala Garfield, the House of Lasagna is a must-have! That’s layers of pasta, tangy sauce, creamy bechamel and some ground meat sprinkled around— finished off with gooey melted cheese on top. Yum! Sizes include single servings, half trays good for 4 to 6 people, and a whole tray that can feed 9 to 12 people. And they even come with garlic bread on the side!

During the quarantine, they offer delivery services through their in-house team from 10 AM to 6 PM. And they even have curbside pickups and takeout in their V-mall branch at San Juan! To order, call (02) 7748-2003 or message them on Facebook and Instagram in case they’re busy.

1. Conti’s Bakeshop and Restaurant

Another restaurant to keep in mind for birthday celebrations while on quarantine. Conti’s may be known for their cakes (Mango Bravo, anyone?), but they also have pastries, party trays and dishes that are worth a shot. A crowd favorite includes their Conti’s Baked Salmon, which includes a slab of Norwegian salmon fillet topped with garlic, creamy sauce and cheese. It’s served with a tangy paella rice too on the side. Their Baked New Zealand Mussels are a good creamy fix too for the Lenten season, while their Cheesy Baked Macaroni and Lasagna are good pasta fixes.
