DreamWorks has partnered with Jollibee for the release of an animated movie Forgotten Island.
The new film follows two lifelong best friends, Jo and Raissa, voiced by singer H.E.R. and actress Liza Soberano. The story begins when the pair discovers a hidden doorway to Nakali, a secret island filled with mythical creatures from Filipino folklore. The journey tests their bond when they learn that going back home might force them to forget each other forever. Together with new friends, they must work to overcome the dangers of the island while keeping their deep connection alive.
The movie brings together a large international cast of actors, including Dave Franco, Lea Salonga, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng. Beyond the star power, the story focuses heavily on the values of family and unity, themes that match the core message of the popular food chain.
Company leaders express excitement about the project, noting that both the film and the restaurant focus on making happy memories with the people you care about most. To mark the release, local branches are offering a special meal set called the Adventure Bundle. The meal features popular items like fried chicken, rice, drinks, and fruit desserts, along with a collectible charm bracelet meant to represent close bonds.
The special meal bundle will be available in selected stores through late October. Universal Pictures will release the movie in local theaters on September 23, 2026.
