Lisa from Blackpink has joined the cast of HBO’s “The White Lotus” season 3, which marks her acting debut! The K-pop star will be credited in the show under her full name, Lalisa Manobal.
The Emmy-winning series will begin production in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok this February and will be followed by a new group of guests at another White Lotus property. HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand for the filming and promotion of the third installment.
Aside from Lisa, the cast of “The White Lotus” season 3 also includes Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaraviฤius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Walton Goggins, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Julian Kostov, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Morgana OโReilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong, and Aimee Lou Wood.
Lisa is the second Blackpink member to appear on HBO after Jennie starred in the drama series “The Idol” in 2023. She recently launched her very own label, LLOUD.

“The White Lotus” is a social satire that revolves around the exploits of various guests and employees of the fictional resort chain, White Lotus, affected by dysfunctions. It is directed and written by Mike White and executive produced by White, David Bernad, and Mark Kamine.
Its first installment premiered in July 2021 and was set in Hawaii, while the second installment premiered in December 2022 and was set in Sicily. Both gained nominations and wins at the Emmy Awards.
