The internet is no stranger to viral sensation Peppa Pig. From the sassy remarks she regularly doles out on her show, to straight-up hanging the phone on a friend who could whistle (while she couldn’t) Peppa truly is something else. It seems this cartoon character has caught everyone’s attention once again and this time, it’s because of her height.

It all started with a simple tweet which exposed the surprising truth. For some reason, one Twitter user apparently found Peppa Pig’s height to be a burning question which needed answers — and he got some. The screenshot of google’s search results showed Peppa’s height to be an astounding 7 feet and 1 inch.

However, it’s still unclear whether the search results really did come up on Google or if the screenshot was edited. By now, any further searches on her height will only lead to more sites citing her height as 7’1″ with only the tweet acting as the source. Peppa’s different wiki pages are also being continuously edited to reflect different heights, which makes the situation all the more confusing.

Whether or not Peppa’s height can be confirmed by official sources, it feels like the internet’s embrace of it has now made it into fact. With its numerous memes and articles, Peppa’s height may well as be considered cemented in pop culture.
