ASUS Zenfone Series: Your Affordable Access to Top-Of-The-Line Technology
Affordability is no longer the name of the game when it comes to technology. Everything is cheap if you have the right access and the right mindset. Quality, however, is a different ball game altogether. You either pay the price or give it up. So, when Asus announced their new line called the Zenfone series, everyone was delighted. And I mean everyone.
But let’s back up a bit to the moment of anticipation.
Asus had the grand unveiling of their Zenfone lineup at Hyve. They called it, the Zenfone Black Party. True enough, it was a party everyone will remember. As the guests awaited the highlight of the night, everyone lined up for the buffet and free drinks. (And as much as I would like to give you a taste, I was too busy gobbling down the food that we now have to fast-forward to the beginning of the event.)
The host began the introduction. Everyone stopped and gathered around the stage. They knew the event was about to start and no one was willing to give up their spot. As your trustee correspondent skidded, ran and almost tumbled down to get to the front line, the dance crew lit up the stage quite literally.
After an incredible start, the host (or rather the all-knowing voice) wasted no time and introduced Mr. George Su. Mr. Su was quick and on-point. The great thing about his presentation is that he didn’t feed on the audience’s excitement. He used it and went right on it. And while he was discussing the impressive specs of the Asus Memopad lineup, you could hear the buzz and whispers of the audience. They were in awe (and I was, too). Who wouldn’t be if you had a phone that can act as a tablet and a tablet that can act as a phone? It’s small enough to fit in your hands and big enough to transform your entire tablet experience.

Still, the highlight of the night was yet to come. Are you ready?
After a brief talk about Asus and the process in developing the Zenfone lineup, Mr. Su jumped right in to talk about everything it has to offer. The Asus Zenfone series are the newest smartphones in the market with a twist. With their top-of-the-line technology, the Asus Zenfone series can definitely compete with the high-end phones in the country and around the world.
The Lowdown of the Asus Zenfone Series
Mr. Hanson Chua
Hanson Chua, a businessman and self-proclaimed phone geek and enthusiast, gave us the four things to consider before buying a smartphone.
1. Battery Life
At this day and age, being offline or disconnected can equate to losing a day of your life. Everything we do is mostly directly attached to our phones. Whether it is for work or our personal lives, our constant need to use our phones can drain their batteries faster than we would like. A little tip from the geek himself: “Undercharging or overcharging your phone brings the same effect. It lessens your battery life.”
Let’s put it this way. Imagine your life line in a game. When you lose, you lose a life. It’s the same thing with our batteries; except they lose when you either forget to remove the plug or if you unplug it too soon.
The good thing about the Asus Zenfone series is that its battery capacity is up to 3,300 mAh. In short, you have more lifelines to waste and more time to be connected. In case that’s not enough for you, JUICE powerbanks are your perfect solution.
This is a no-brainer. Everybody hates delays. When your phone lags, it’s like your brain goes along with it. But you can’t do anything about it because, well, you’re stuck. And here’s what our phone-geek has to say about the Zenfone lineup, “I’m trying to make it hang, but so far, it hasn’t.”
As you can see here, Mr. Chua is moving his hand left to right and vice versa as fast as he can to test the initial speed of the Zenfone smartphones.
