All 6 Members of ALAMAT Have Acting Roles This Year—Here’s Where You Can Watch Them

ALAMAT is pushing the envelope of its artistry this year, and we’re about to see a lot more of the group on our screens than ever before.

From the moment Taneo, Tomas, R-ji, Alas, Mo, and Jao entered the Pinoy pop (P-pop) industry, they’ve constantly proven to be multifaceted performers in every aspect. Besides the meaningful stories they tell through music, which have unapologetically showcased their roots alongside Filipino culture and history, the boys have earned their stripes as P-pop idols in multiple artistic fields, such as creative direction, production, songwriting, and even entrepreneurship.

Now, fresh off the success of their new album, Destino, the six members of ALAMAT are taking their exceptional talent and passion to new heights with their Magiliws. Their latest pursuits? Acting in phenomenal local theater productions and book-to-screen adaptations.

It goes without saying that ALAMAT has come a long way, from hardworking trainees to versatile P-pop artists who continue to persevere towards their lifelong dreams. Are you ready to join them in their upcoming adventures onscreen and onstage? Here’s where you can tune in to the multilingual boy group’s exciting endeavors throughout the year:

Taneo Sebastian in Ang Mutya ng Section E, Book 2: The Dark Side

Numerous new names and faces are ready to cause chaos in the intense second season of Ang Mutya ng Section E. Among these intriguing characters is Ryosuke Sato, played by ALAMAT’s leader, Taneo.

Magiliws have yet to witness Taneo take on the role of a high-profile rebel. Regardless, we can’t wait to see how he’ll give life to the tatted troublemaker who’s hell-bent on stirring drama in the chaotic lives of Jay-jay (Ashtine Olviga), Keifer (Andres Muhlach), Yuri (Rabin Angeles), and the rest of Section E.

You can tune in to new episodes of Ang Mutya ng Section E, Book 2: The Dark Side every Friday on Viva One.

Tomas Rodriguez in Bagets The Musical

Tomas has had an eventful January so far, as one of the lead roles in the youth-oriented musical revival of Bagets. The P-pop idol plays the shy yet free-spirited Gilbert, originally portrayed by Herbert Bautista in the ‘80s, who gives life and color to the iconic coming-of-age story.

Bagets The Musical marks Tomas’s theater debut. Despite his inevitable nerves and jitters, he couldn’t be more grateful to share the stage with his fellow Gen Z artists and bring joy to Filipinos of all ages.

Bagets The Musical runs from January to March 2026 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

Mo Mitchell and R-ji Lim in My Husband Is a Mafia Boss

A new romantic and action-packed Wattpad adaptation is underway, and we’re stoked to watch Mo and R-ji partake in it.

My Husband Is a Mafia Boss is a bestselling novel by the late Dianna Marie Maranan, also known as Yannalovesyouu. revolves around Aemie (Rhen Escaño) and Ezekiel (Joseph Marco), a certified power couple that gets into heated stand-offs with their notorious rival gangs.

R-ji will play Jacob, one of Aemie’s loyal protectors, while Mo will portray Spade, a member of the ruthless Yaji gang.

My Husband Is a Mafia Boss is currently in production and is set to premiere this year on Viva One.
