Like father, like son! Andres Muhlach is now stepping into the role of his father, Aga Muhlach’s role in “Bagets The Musical.”

Newport World Resorts gave fans a glimpse of Andres’ role, revealing that he will be playing Adie.

“Charm is in the DNA,” Newport World Resorts wrote. “It’s a full-circle moment as Andres Muhlach steps into the shoes of his dad, Aga Muhlach, to play Adie in #BagetsTheMusical!”
“The ‘80s classic is back, now live on stage for a whole new generation,” it added.
In 1984, Aga Muhlach starred as one of the male leads in the popular coming-of-age comedy film “Bagets,” which marked his rise to mainstream success. The film followed five teenage boys as they navigated the thrills and misadventures of youth in the 1980s.
With this new role, the 23-year-old rising actor builds on the momentum of his recent successes in “Ang Mutya ng Section E” and “Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna.”
“Bagets The Musical” will open on January 23, 2026, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. More details will be announced in the future.
