Adelfe Enu Crea (AEC) at 23: Ascending Towards Greatness
The Adelfe Enu Crea (AEC) Sorority is the first and only business sorority in the University of the Philippines, Diliman. In the recent past, the AEC Sorority has made possible ground-breaking UP Fair LoveRage Concert Series gathering more than 10,000 attendees, You-Turn Seminar Series, business seminars, and outreach programs.
This year, AEC celebrates its 23rd year with the theme AEC at 23: Ascending towards Greatness. The sorority has prepared a series of events that aims to celebrate and honor the sorority’s unfaltering devotion to upholding the spirit of business excellence.
This January 12, 2014, AEC will be holding an outreach program for Kanlungan ni Maria – Home for the Aged Inc., a foundation that provides shelter to homeless elderly people and provides them with the affection and things they need. This home is situated in Antipolo, Rizal.
On January 15, You-turn, a seminar on personality development for women, will be held in the Kamia Residence Hall in UP Diliman. Another talk by the alumnae of the sorority will be held in the Virata School of Business (VSB) on January 18. This aims to give UP Diliman students a glimpse of the truth about life after graduation, as well as to provide them with more potential career aspirations.
Free food will be given to the students as part of the celebration of the sorority’s anniversary during the Grand Pakain on January 21. Lollicakes, instead of the traditional roses, will be distributed around the campus on January 24.
There will also be a gallery exhibit in the 3rd floor, front lobby of the Virata School of Business from 3rd January 21 to January 24.
As culmination of the sorority’s celebration, an Anniversary Dinner will be held on January 25. Resident and alumnae sisters, together with the resident and alumnae brothers from the Pan Xenia Fraternity, are invited to the event.
