Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is one of the biggest Steakhouse restaurant chains in the U.S. and according to reports, they are set to expand their Philippine operations in 2023-2024.
Ruth’s Classic Menu is a staple at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and for as low as Php3,500 you can enjoy great steaks, complete with sides!
If you will be ordering Ruth’s Classic Menu, you will get to choose your Starter. You can choose from lobster bisque soup, caesar salad, or ruth’s carpaccio. The price for your set will then depend on the entree of your choice which are U.S. Filet 11oz (Php5,100), U.S. Prime New York 12oz (Php4,900), U.S. Petite Filet 8oz (Php4,400) or U.S. Petit Filet 6oz (Php3,500). You can then choose a side from mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, or julienne fries. Your set meal will end with a dessert duo and a choice of coffee or tea.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in the Philippines first opened its doors in 2021 at ORE Central Tower BGC and now has a cult following because of its delicious steaks and desserts. If you are up for other items on the menu, here are some of our favorites.
If you like your salad with a creamy dressing, Ruth’s Chopped Salad is the one for you. It is easy to eat, light, filling, and topped with some delicious onion rings.
Another crowd favorite is the blue crab cakes which are served on a hot plate. This is super filling, rich in flavor, and a great dish to start your meal.
If you want a lean cut of meat so it can be perfectly cooked, you can order the New York Strip. It is served in a hot plate so you can choose the doneness of your steak.
Last but definitely not least are Ruth’s Chris’ selection of delicious desserts. Our top favorite is their creme brulee which is perfectly creamy, not too sweet, and with fruits for a refreshing way to end your meal.
Though it can be a little difficult to get a table at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in BGC because they are always fully booked, the brand is planning to expand its presence in the country to accommodate more diners.
With multiple branches in nearby countries like Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and Japan, it is just fitting that the brand will open more locations in the country. “Judging by the success of this branch (Ore Central Tower in Bonifacio Global City), I think there is an opportunity and we do have the demand for it,” Kieran Galway, Regional Director of the Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Asia-Pacific.
“Some of our loyal customers abroad also visit the Philippines branch and we have many Filipinos dining at our APAC restaurants”, Kieran added. Most of Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse’s ingredients are still from abroad to keep the quality the same with the principal branches especially the meats/steaks which is vital in delivering the ultimate Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse experience.
