WATCH: Shark tries to eat a dog but other dogs rush to rescue him!

One thing I never thought I would see on my timeline is watching a shark try to eat a dog only to be attacked by other dogs. Sharks are one thing I’m terrified of whenever I’m on the beach or even just a ridiculous fear that there might be one whenever I’m in a pool. Although, times have changed as I have learned that some sharks are harmless and don’t attack as viciously as they are portrayed to be monsters in films.

But I might need to think twice about that learning of mine as I recently watched this viral clip that was posted by Twitter user @Frenchring51 last June 25. You can watch the video here on the Twitter link below:

In the video, a dog can be seen looking around and enjoying playing in the water. In just a short span of seconds, you can also see the outline of a shark swimming towards a dog by the sandy shore of the beach.

The shark tried to attack the dog, most likely seen as an easy target to snack. In the next scene, it shows that a bunch of other dogs came rushing into the water to attack the shark. For the duration of the battle, it didn’t end as quickly as possible as the dogs were initially struggling.

The group of dogs was ganging up together on the shark as they tried to ward the shark away from the dog it was trying to attack first and thankfully, they managed to do so. But unfortunately, the shark was unsuccessful and left hungry as it swam away.

I can only imagine what the shark though as it probably didn’t expect to be attacked by a pack of dogs. This dog should surely thank his other dog buddies for the immediate rescue because otherwise, he would have been badly injured or in the shark’s stomach.

Right now, I’m questioning myself if we even deserve dogs as I honestly don’t know how many humans would rush to save a dog in the water know they would have to fight off a shark. If you don’t love dogs or want one after you see this, I’m questioning you as well.

Here’s to all the good boys out there. Much love and respect, you all deserve a shoutout for a job well done!
