Anucha “Cha” Saengchart is the amazing cosplayer behind the popular Facebook page “Lowcost Cosplay”. Rather than taking the usual approach with cosplay and using intricate designs and (usually) costly materials, “Cha” takes everyday household items and transforms them into hilarious cosplays. From sanitary pads to cooked noodles, nothing is unusable for him!
(LOOK: This cosplayer’s ‘My Hero Academia’ costume is perfectly spot on!)
Take these corn chips, for example. With just a few packs and a headband, he’s transformed himself into Naruto:

A personal favorite is their eerie rendition of the Night King…made from mint candies and some old keyboards:

How many of us have been childishly amused at how fan blades look when spinning? Well, “Cha” thought to capitalize that for Captain America’s legendary shield:

The fact that this cosplay goes the extra mile in recreating a whole poster, complete with a mirror-Voldemort, will have you in stitches:

Here are the cooked noodles referenced earlier, used to make himself into Lisa from BLACKPINK:

Then we have another innovative use of candies, this time to mimic the Infinity Gems on the Iron Man gauntlet made of a red jersey:

An entire dress made out of panty liners… that’s all you need to know:

Another iconic lady in white, with a creative twist on her dragon:

A bread-y creative twist (pun definitely intended, don’t roast me) on Gogeta. The 6-pack turned dinner rolls are a great highlight:

Rather than choosing a character, he actually made himself the actual boat in One Piece:

It’s great to show that anyone can get into cosplaying, if just to make people laugh, even with a small budget. Of course, some of these cosplays still do need you to shell out some cash but it is a comparatively cheaper alternative.
