Mark Lee will no longer be a member of NCT 127 and NCT Dream.

On April 3, Mark confirmed the news of his departure, expressing his gratitude to everyone who has been a part of his journey.

“Out of all the things my heart wants to say right now, I truly wish to say thank you. Thank you for loving, supporting, and shaping me to become who I am today,” he said in a heartfelt statement.
“I truly believe that our hearts have better sight than our eyes, and what my heart sees right now isn’t a closing door but rather an opening new one,” he continued. “I hope our next chapter together could be where we are all healthily smiling about our past, welcoming the present, and being excited for what’s to come.”
In an official statement on Weverse, SM Entertainment announced that they have mutually agreed to conclude his exclusive contract.
“As of April 8, Mark will conclude all activities as a member of NCT, including NCT 127 and NCT Dream,” the statement read.
Following his departure, NCT-127 will continue as a seven-member group consisting of Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan. Meanwhile, NCT Dream will be a six-member group comprised of members Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung.
Debuted in 2016 under SM Entertainment, Mark Lee has been a well-known music artist and rapper. Apart from his musical ventures in NCT, he also debuted in the supergroup SUPERM.
In 2025, he debuted his debut album “The Firstfruit.”
