The universe rewards audacity, and Patrick has it in spades. That’s why the country’s pageantry, drag, and entertainment industries are no strangers to his show-stopping looks that scream “go big or go home.” Angelica’s “folk witch extravaganza” on this year’s Miss Grand International stage is just one of the many ways Patrick has honored Filipino culture through his creative vision.

From elegant, runway-ready pieces to drop-dead gorgeous ensembles that put coolness and camp front and center, Patrick is bringing an unprecedented charm to Philippine fashion that even our favorite celebrities swear by. Every ounce of love he pours into his creations has helped him reach great heights, including the main stage of Drag Race Philippines and various local pageants that celebrate queer excellence.

Ready to strike a pose and make heads turn with Patrick? Here are some of the iconic looks that showcase his authenticity and innovation as a storyteller who brings communities together:

Mangkukulam Magic With Angelica Lopez

All eyes were on Angelica and Patrick as they paid homage to Filipino folklore at the Miss Grand International 2026 National Costume Competition. Halloween came early for the Filipina queen, who graced the stage as a life-sized voodoo doll on an evil witch’s strings. The spine-chilling costume was a masterclass in artistry, putting a theatrical spin on the stories and superstitions that shaped our imagination. Sure enough, the costume gained uproarious cheer online, especially for the minds behind it. Samantha Bernardo said it best: Iba ka talaga, Patrick!

This modern twist on Mayari, the Lunar Empress of Pampanga, left us all utterly speechless. We couldn’t take our eyes off Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Mary Tiglao as she transformed into a dreamy deity of Philippine mythology in a Patrick Isorena original. We still remember this National Costume like it was only yesterday. Who wouldn’t be in awe of its bedazzled blue pieces, silky smooth teal train, and the kaleidoscope of colors on its headpiece that tied the look together?

Patrick is the designer on everyone’s radar these days, and his contributions to Drag Race Philippines prove it. His next-level creations even made the franchise’s newest season, thanks to Valeria, the trans fairy of Season 4, who impressed us with a scene-stealing halo-halo-inspired costume. Patrick made it a point to champion the versatile Filipino dessert with sequined sahog replicas that highlighted Valeria’s playful personality. Now, that’s how you beat the “ber” months heat!

Bernie was Patrick’s muse throughout her remarkable run on Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale. He designed several of her competition-ready runway looks, striking a vibrant balance between cutting-edge couture and nature’s enchanting elements. Bernie and Patrick made their mark on the show with these diverse ensembles, which include:

  • A fabulous floral extravaganza for Bernie’s “RuBirth” runway,
  • Her powerful promo look, locked in and ready for battle, and
  • An all-out warrior goddess set for the Slaysian Royale pilot episode’s “From Roots to Runway” category.

Patrick’s looks have always shown how a little love goes a long way. Case in point: Angel Guardian’s 28th birthday photoshoot, where she welcomed a new chapter with open arms. In a fun, flirtatious video to Connie Francis’s “Stupid Cupid,” Angel celebrated her special day in a sparkly, heart-shaped garment that complemented her sheer elegance and star power.
