Manila, the wait is over. Big Bad Wolf Books makes its much-awaited return to Metro Manila, bringing really awesome books, real discounts to Park Triangle Mall in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) from November 5 to 15, 2026, marking the book sale’s first-ever event in BGC.

This year, Big Bad Wolf Books is bringing an even bigger and more exciting experience for Filipino readers, featuring a significantly wider selection of fiction, international bestsellers, collectible editions, children’s books, and hard-to-find titles, along with discounts of up to 95%. From trending authors like Rebecca Yarros, Sarah J. Maas, and Freida McFadden to special editions rarely available in the Philippines, there will be more books to discover, more stories to explore, and more reasons to keep hunting through the stacks.

Adding to the excitement is the arrival of Goldsboro Books, giving Filipino readers access to limited first-edition signed copies and numbered volumes that would traditionally require an overseas trip to find. The sale will also feature Jeffrey Archer’s Adam & Eve, launching internationally in October as the acclaimed author’s final book—making it a particularly meaningful find for collectors and fans.

The experience is designed for readers of all kinds. An expanded children’s section organized by age group makes browsing easy for families, while “Unbelievable Titles” starting at just ₱60 offer a low-stakes invitation to pick up a book simply because it catches your eye.

TJ Cuenca, head of marketing at BGC, welcomed Big Bad Wolf Books to the district and expressed enthusiasm for bringing the event to the heart of a city where food, fashion, art, work, entertainment, and culture thrive. Inside Park Triangle, rows upon rows of books will transform browsing into a full-scale treasure hunt.

Big Bad Wolf Books partners, including Tim Yap and Charmaine Palermo, also attended the launch and echoed the call to make reading and learning part of everyday life.

Encouraging everyone to make the most of the upcoming sale, Tim Yap invited guests and readers to “really immerse yourself in books” and share “the gift of books,” which he described as “the gift of learning.” His message captured the core spirit of the Manila 2026 sale: that discovering a book can be more than a transaction—it can be an opportunity to learn, explore, and connect.

For Big Bad Wolf Books, the experience goes far beyond checking items off a reading list. Visitors might come looking for a favorite bestselling author and discover a new passion, shop for their children and leave with something for themselves, or stumble upon a rare edition they never expected to see in Manila.

Big Bad Wolf Books Manila 2026 is ultimately about discovery—giving readers more of the books they want, introducing them to titles they didn’t know they needed, and offering endless opportunities to take home something unexpected. Open daily from 10:00 AM to midnight, the sale gives book lovers plenty of time to browse, hunt, and discover their next great read.

Hunting beyond the stacks: Really awesome books, real discounts

This year’s theme, “There’s a Book for Every Kind of You,” expands what it means to be a reader. Gym-goer? There’s a book for you. Coffee obsessive? There’s a book for you. Gamer, designer, traveler, entrepreneur, home cook, music fan, parent, collector—or someone who hasn’t picked up a book in years? There’s a book for you, too.

Matching readers with their real-world passions—including food, fitness, travel, art, music, gaming, parenting, self-development, business, and creative hobbies—the event encourages visitors to follow their interests and see where the hunt leads. Big Bad Wolf proves a simple truth: you don’t have to identify as a reader to find a book you’ll love.

Among the featured titles visitors can hunt down are:

  • Fourth Wing (Deluxe and special editions) — Rebecca Yarros
  • Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop — Hwang Bo-reum
  • Crime and Punishment — Fyodor Dostoyevsky
  • The Thursday Murder Club — Richard Osman
  • House of Flame and Shadow — Sarah J. Maas
  • The Friend Zone — Abby Jimenez

The thrill of the hunt in a digital world

In an age where you can search, click, and have almost anything delivered in a few taps, Big Bad Wolf brings back something an algorithm cannot replicate: the tactile thrill of the physical book hunt. It’s the spontaneous joy of stumbling across an unexpected title at an unbelievable price.

A cover catches your eye. A title makes you pause. You spot an author you’ve been meaning to read or a book you never knew existed. Then you check the price tag and realize you’re taking it home with you. That unpredictability is at the heart of the Big Bad Wolf experience.

Visitors can wander through stacks of unexpected finds, check items off their holiday shopping lists, explore new hobbies, and leave with books they might never have searched for online.
