Starring alongside Rave as his co-lead is ABS-CBN’s newest Kapamilya artist, Lance Jeremy. Rave’s fellow PBB housemate, Inigo Jose, will also join the cast.
“They say keep your friends close and your enemies closer… but maybe not this close,” iWant wrote on social media, announcing the official launch and main cast of Coach Me Maybe.
Rumors about Rave leading the BL series first surfaced five days before the official announcement, when ABS-CBN released a short teaser on Instagram.

Coach Me Maybe marks Rave’s first major leading role since entering showbiz in October 2025, when he was launched as a Star Magic rookie artist.
Rave first rose to prominence on TikTok through his fitness content, which earned him a substantial online following. As of writing, Rave has about 419,000 Instagram followers and over one million TikTok followers.

At the helm of the series is one of ABS-CBN’s most prominent filmmakers, Theodore “Direk Ted” Boborol—director of the 2015 LizQuen movie Just the Way You Are and mastermind behind the queer reality dating show Sparks Camp.
While many fans are celebrating this milestone, some were surprised by his decision to lead a BL series, especially given his popular fan pairing with fellow PBB housemate Ashley Sarmiento.
