Gone are the days when pre-nuptial photos meant brightly-lit studios, fancy props, gowns and ties—the whole charade. Nowadays, a more natural style has taken over, bringing brides and groom-to-bes outdoors where, for some couples, is the place of where they are most in their element.
By the beach, under the stars, up in the mountains…some even travel as far as Iceland just to get their perfect outdoor pre-nup shots. Then again, you don’t really have to go that far. With a little scouting prowess, a good photographer and a good location are all you need.

Such is the case with photographer Efjay Deleon of Efjay Deleon Wedding Photography. One of his recent projects brought him to the breathtaking cliffs of Dingalan, Aurora to shoot soon-to-wed couple Kim and Jaycee. And the photos are stunning.

When I asked Efjay about this particular project, he shared with me:
As an artist, nature inspires my work. Nature is my most influential source because it really inspires me. There is something about nature that really collates with my work environment—it makes me feel alive. At the same time, travel is also part of my leisure. It helps me get more ideas for meeting my clients’ interests. We love sunsets, seas, and cliffs, that’s why we came up with the perfect prenup location in Dingalan, Aurora. The stars were perfect that night.
