Lara Quigaman took to social media to address the separation rumors with her husband, Marco Alcaraz.
This came after a TikTok post, which included a photo of her and a quote about stepping away to see someone’s worth circulated on social media.
On Instagram, she posted a photo of them together and a screenshot of the said post, shutting down the rumors.
The Miss International 2005 shared that a few friends were concerned about the ongoing rumors and sent her the link to the TikTok post.
“And so, some think that @marcoalcaraz and I separated… hindi po, (bakit ba kasi gusto nyo kami maghiwalay?) [No, (why do you want us to break up?)],” she wrote.

She even joked about stepping away to go to the restroom as she denied saying the quoted statement, “Nevaaa.. at hindi ko po sinabi ang nasa caption, pero minsan lumalayo po talaga ako, nagla lock ng door (sa CR) para mag-isa pero di para makilala sarili ko kundi para makatakas sa ingay ng bahay kahit 5 minutes lang [Never and I didn’t say what was in the caption but sometimes I step away, I lock the door in the CR to be alone, not to know myself, but to escape the noise in the house even for five minutes].”
In 2022, the actress-beauty queen expressed her disappointment over people who make jokes out of celebrity breakups and wish other relationships to fail.
Lara and Marco have been married since 2011. They have three children.
