The Outstanding Asian Star awards were given to actors from six countries in Asia, including Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and the Philippines.Â
Among the nominees were Bernardo’s boyfriend Daniel Padilla, Barbie Forteza, Dennis Trillo, and Julie Anne San Jose. The winner was selected through voting from June 15 to July 14.

Winners will be awarded on September 21, 2023. Actors Gabby Concepcion, Dennis Trillo, Alden Richards, Dingdong Dantes, and Belle Mariano also previously bagged awards at the Seoul International Drama Awards.
Bernardo will star in three upcoming films, A Very Good Girl, Elena 1944, and a reunion film with Padilla.Â
