In an Instagram story, KATSEYE addressed EYEKONs for their inability to perform at the much-awaited festival, which is set to take place on August 29.
“Megan sprained her ankle yesterday during tour rehearsal and after being evaluated by doctors, she has been advised to stay off it and allow it to properly heal so we can be ready for our upcoming tour,” the statement read.

“We know how much our fans were looking forward to seeing us, and it breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there,” it added.
The statement also extended KATSEYE members’ love to Olivia and all the artists, non-profit organizations, and volunteers who will make the event meaningful and enjoyable at the same time.
Daisy Chain Fields Festival is founded by Olivia Rodrigo, with all net profits proceeding toward organizations supporting young girls and women.
As of writing, KATSEYE is currently down to four members due to Manon Bannerman’s indefinite hiatus and Sophia Laforteza’s temporary hiatus to focus on her mental health and well-being.
We’re praying for Megan’s quick recovery!
