JM de Guzman and Cesar Montano are working on a project together for the first time! On August 10, they announced that they started filming a new movie titled Selda Tres.
On Instagram, de Guzman posted a photo of himself with the veteran actor, with the caption, “First day shoot of SELDA TRES. @cesarbuboymontano.” He also mentioned in the caption that the upcoming movie is directed by GB Sampedro.

Montano also shared the news by uploading a video of their shoot with de Guzman.
“1st Day of shooting with JM De Guzman ‘SELDA TRES’ directed by GB Sampedro. #jmdeguzman,” [sic] he captioned.
In the video, Montano said, “It’s our first day of shooting, Selda Tres, with JM.”
“Sir. It’s my honor,” the Kapamilya actor replied. “It’s my honor, too,” Montano added.

The details of the upcoming movie, including its plot, cast, and release date, have yet to be announced. But the actors tagged GB Sampedro in their respective posts.

De Guzman is known for his roles in That Thing Called Tadhana, Ang Babae sa Septic Tank, and Kung Paano Siya Nawala. He’s set to star in an upcoming Netflix movie What If? alongside Alessandra de Rossi and ABS-CBN drama Linlang with Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. The 34-year-old is also part of the ABS-CBN action series The Iron Heart, where he portrayed the role of a religious leader.
Meanwhile, Montano, who recently earned a master’s degree in Public Safety Administration in July, appeared in several movies, including Muro-Ami, Asero, and The Great Raid.
