Philippine bet Jasmin Bungay placed second runner-up at the Miss Globe 2024 coronation night, held at the Tirana Olympic Park in Albania on October 16 (Philippine time).

During the highly anticipated Q&A portion, Jasmin was asked: “As technology changes quickly, how can we make sure we keep human connections and show empathy in our daily lives?”
“I believe that with the advancement of technology and the abuse that is prevalent now in the technological world, to be empathetic is to live in the moment, to make sure that every moment is treasured not on the screen but in real life. Only when we have real connections, only when we connect with each other face-to-face, physically, can we truly feel each other and experience the fullness of life,” she answered.

Jasmin dazzled at the Miss Globe 2024 pageant in captivating outfits. She graced the runway first in a spring-inspired gown, followed by a striking purple summer swimsuit, then a fiery orange evening gown, and concluded with a stunning winter-inspired gown for her final walk.
For this year’s pageant, Colombia’s Diana Moreno was crowned Miss Globe 2024, succeeding the 2023 titleholder, Manvin Khera of Malaysia.
Thailand’s Prada Thansita Dilhokanansakul was named first runner-up, with Germany’s Andromeda Schuster finishing as third runner-up, and Vietnam’s Ha Trang Do placing fourth runner-up.
Binibining Pilipinas’ official account congratulated Jasmin for her strong finish in the competition.
“You have continually inspired us with your hard work and dedication throughout your Miss Globe journey,” the organization wrote. “Your BPCI family and the Philippines will always be proud of you!”
Jasmin’s predecessor, Anna Lakrini, also placed second runner-up in last year’s competition. The Philippines has produced two Miss Globe titleholders: Maureen Montagne in 2021 and Anna Lorraine Colis in 2015.
