Real-life exes Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia will once again reunite for an upcoming Star Cinema film “Always Yours, Never Mine.”

On August 12, Star Cinema shared a clip of the actor’s screen test. The video gave a glimpse of the duo’s natural chemistry, as well as their impressive vocal prowess when it comes to confrontation scenes.

“When you love someone, you compromise, you sacrifice, you commit. Kahit masakit na, kahit na ang liit-liit na ng tingin mo sa sarili mo,” Julia’s character said.
Meanwhile, Joshua’s character revealed something: “Naiintindihan ko dahil mahal kita. Kahit masakit, kahit na ang liit na ng tingin ko sa sarili ko.”
In response, the actress uttered: “Wag ako ang mahalin mo… Iba.”
As of writing, the pair’s screentest captured over 10 million cumulative views across various social media platforms.
Directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, “Always Yours, Never Mine” will be exclusively in cinemas starting September 30, 2026.
