Jake Cuenca will be flexing his acting chops again in the upcoming adaptation of Carlo J. Caparas’ “Ang Panday” as the villain, Lizardo.
As one of this generation’s most formidable character actors, the actor said that he was thankful for the chance given to him to play the role of Lizardo, a demon who wreaks havoc on the hometown of Flavio, the blacksmith.
According to ABS-CBN News, Jake said:
“I am just thankful that I didn’t get a haircut before I made the movie. But I really am excited about “Ang Panday”. I am excited about working with Coco and other big actors.”
Jake has started filming the movie alongside lead star Coco Martin.
On how he plans to interpret the character, Jake said:
“I will really do it in my own way. Like I said, when I do antagonistic roles, I really do it well. And when Coco brings us together, it’s magical.”
