Celebrity couples are no strangers to public scrutiny, and it looks like Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson are once again in the spotlight.

In the latest episode of Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update on YouTube, veteran entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz revealed that the couple is allegedly in a “cool-off stage.”
Ogie’s co-host, Mama Loi Villarama, pointed out how Julia and Gerald have noticeably stopped appearing in each other’s Instagram posts—something fans have also started to notice.
Despite the rumors, Ogie stressed that he still sees the couple as endgame.
“Nakikita kong si Gerald at Julia, parang sila ‘yung future. Sila pa rin ‘yung ending,” he said.
However, Ogie also shared information from one of his sources claiming that a third party may be involved.
While Ogie was quick to clarify that nothing is confirmed, the speculation surprised even Mama Loi during their conversation.
“Iiwan natin sa kanila ‘yan. Hindi po iyan kumpirmado, naibalita lamang iyan sa akin,” Ogie explained, adding that Julia truly loves Gerald and may just be waiting for “signs” before reconciling.

At the end of the day, Ogie reminded viewers that only Julia and Gerald can confirm what’s really going on.
After all, social media posts (or the lack of them) don’t always paint the full picture of a relationship.
For now, fans will have to wait and see whether this alleged “cool-off” is just a bump in the road.
Still, with Ogie hinting that Julia might be waiting for “signs” before fully reconciling, and even mentioning the possibility of marriage down the line, it seems like the future is still wide open for the couple.
