Pandesal (or Filipino bread roll) is the quintessential bread in the Philippines. It is typically bought from the bakery fresh and piping hot from the oven, and often eaten in the morning. Common as a breakfast fare, it isn’t a mortal sin to eat it any time of the day, which is why many bakeries sell it the whole day. Pandesal doesn’t have any filling off the bat, which is a good thing, because it works as a blank canvas for anything sweet or savory— much like rice. Maybe, that’s why we love it too.

Known as a go-to bakery that offers freshly baked hot pandesal daily in the neighborhood, they also make loaves of bread. In a way, this can also be a blank canvas for your spreads— a tad fancier though and with fewer crumbs. So, if you want to ditch the classic pandesal over the swankier loaf bread, do so and slather your jam or jelly away.

However, their selection of foodservice bread is made to order. So, you need to order in advance if you want to buy these buns. This is done to ensure that they are always freshly baked on the day of delivery.
