Hotel Okura Manila at Newport World Resorts just dropped their new Yawaragi Grill Menu, and it is the perfect mix of cozy Japanese comfort food and upscale dining.

We’re talking authentic yaki (grilling) techniques that bring out the absolute best flavors, reimagined by Executive Chef Jerrymie Tamayo to perfectly hit the Filipino palate. Plus, Yamazato’s Specialty Chef Ikuma Sato is bringing his A-game with a refined take on ramen—its rich broth and layered flavors beautifully complement the charcoal-grilled dishes.
Aside from the grill stars, you can also get your fix of familiar favorites like agemono (fried dishes) and donburi (rice bowls).

If you love an interactive dining experience, this one’s for you. Ishiyaki highlights cooking over a heated volcanic stone, known for its exceptional heat retention and even distribution. You get a sashimi-grade cut of your choice, allowing you to take full control and cook it exactly to your preference right at your table.
The Highlight: Go for the Sake (sashimi-grade Norwegian salmon fillet) for that perfect, buttery sear.
